For the Founder, Pad Narayanan, consistently contributing and giving back to the society was always a way of life, and he decided to take it to the next step by searching for an army of like-minded individuals, who would create a significant impact. Pad believes that because he has received so much from the society, and continues to receive, what he is able to give back is significantly lower and this is the driving force behind his beliefs and his movement – Good and Humble.

Good and Humble is a social impact venture, through which he not only helps those less fortunate than him, but his aim is to inspire people to make giving back to society a norm and a way of living. His venture is the sum of all his beliefs, with focused attention on ensuring the availability of the basic necessities of life such as food, water, education, and sanitation for all those who are deprived of them.

Pad sincerely believes that when you help someone with a pure heart and with joy, you become an inspiration to others. Your enthusiasm, cheerfulness, and peace of mind become attractive for like-minded folk, thereby getting them to join in the mission to help others. This is the underlying principal for all those that volunteer with Good and Humble – 80 soulful individuals from across Asia and Africa. Good and Humble does not accept and expect money from volunteers – rather it identifies social causes, and places them in the hands of the volunteers to take complete ownership from start to finish, using their time and money at their discretion.
